"Winter Beauties" by Debbie Oppermann. Driving the country roads north of Guelph Ontario Canada, I was thrilled to spot the Snow Buntings. Visiting from the arctic, they are usually found on farm land in flocks. The Snowflake, as they are sometimes called because they look like snowflakes when swirling around the field, was taking a walk in the lovely dried wildflowers at the edge of the field. The arctic bird is just beautiful and blends in well with the brown wildflowers against the white snow. Two winter beauties for sure.
